The next day when we returned to our room, not only was a full clean not done, the room hadn't even been touched. I called the front desk to make a complaint and was assured that a full room clean would be completed the following day. We started with 4 sets of towels, then after a couple of days only 3 sets were replaced. This debris of course stuck to our feet and was brought into our beds, despite our best efforts to wipe our feet off before getting into bed. Visible sand and dirt was everywhere in the room. There seems to be no rhyme or reason with housekeeping here. Shame on Avanti and I I’ll be seeking a refund. Hotels like the Cabana Bay put this hotel to shame comparing the price and quality of experience. A couple fighting, swearing and shouting next door was the icing on the poisoned cake unable to contact the front desk for security with phones out and too fearful to leave our own room we endured a terrible night with poor rest. Phones did not work, internet did not work and the noise from the pool bar kept my family awake in room 4209 until very late. The feeling on arrival in the lobby is one that is good and full of promise, but in fact tricks the customer to avoid them cancelling their booking and moving on. The surrounding corridors stink of smoke, with stained carpets, chipped walls and trims the general feeling is that of an aging 1 star motel that took a lick of paint a few years ago and some cheap eye-catching furniture was installed. No housekeeping came to make the beds (apparently we should have asked for this, but we’re not briefed this on arrival). In fact, your hotel has rooms that are falling apart, tired furnishings, doors that do not seal properly with gaps that let in every noise. Your hotel has done a fantastic job of posting photos that make it ‘look’ like a $200/night 4 star hotel. At least, that’s what this hotel has done to me. I promise you you’ll leave with the ever lasting mark and also telling everyone who wants to visit Florida that THIS IS THE HOTEL TO BE IN. 10/10 recommend and I 1000% trying to get Laetitia to check you in. This is the hotel you want, especially if you want a prime memory that the staff here is superior to any other hotel staff I’ve EVER dealt with. She throughly walked me through where I was supposed to go (the hotels big lots of numbered buildings), explained to me the pool times and told me if there was anything I needed let her know and if I needed my room switched to come by and gives a thumbs down lol. I told her the reason I keep coming back to this hotel is because of her staff and even though I had a 10 minute interaction with her, I’m for sure proud of her for becoming supervisor of the front desk. I also booked two rooms and I had asked specifically for not conjoined rooms and she made SURE TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN (can’t tell that story because idk who’s going to read this lol). I felt like I was speaking to a longtime friend. We talked about my husband and I gave her awful marriage advice but she never looked annoyed talking to me.
She answered my question (wasn’t annoyed or wanting to get rid of me) and we actually sparked up an entire conversation.

When she began checking me in, I asked her about the bugs outside and how to avoid being bit lol. Tonight I checked into my hotel and I had the absolute pleasure to have Laetitia.
I have never had a bad experience, everyone who works the front desk is always so friendly, they’ll be dancing and singing to the music, cracking jokes, talking to you like you’re a human and not a customer. I absolutely cannot say enough about how amazing the staff at the Avanti is. But besides the pool, the location of the cleanliness the ONLY reason we come back is because of their staff.

Plus it’s in a prime area, it’s so close to basically everything. The game room is also top notch compared to other hotels I’ve been to if they even had one. The pool is one of the best hotel pools I’ve seen. The hotel is so beautiful and immaculately clean. My family and I have been coming to the Avanti since 2020, just recently we started coming a lot more since we moved to florida and I promise you, YOU WILL NOT FIND BETTER.
